Malia had girls camp last week. The stake theme was "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" Each ward was assigned a Dr. Seuss book. Our ward got "The Grinch," so they had lots of fun with Christmas decorations, Who-hair and secret Santa gifts. She said the food was out of this world!!! The two camp leaders that planned the whole thing had been to girls camp 28 years and 30 years respectively, so they knew what they were doing!! Malia got home on Friday at about 10:30 am, walked in the door, dropped her stuff, picked up her pillow and went straight down to her room, and crashed until after 4:30 that afternoon. She said it was the best camp she has ever been to.
One of her favorite things was the glow stick stick men dance.... who knew you could have so much fun taping glow sticks to yourself!!
Rik came up for the hikes and stayed overnight one night. He was the hike leader for one of the 5 mile hikes. He came home and said that girls camp is SOOOO NOT like boys camp..... he was very impressed with all that was planned and organized for this camp.

Cute babies!! Karissa sure had a small little one!! Girls camp sounds fun - Kenna is gone this week, she just left this morning. Chris has said the same thing about girls camp/ boys/scout camp.
Oh I want to learn more about the glow stick dance!
